Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle input device which may be configured inexpensively by mechanical switches, and which is capable of detecting a state of an operation lever during a rotation thereof. Provided is a vehicle input device, comprising: an operation lever 5 which is capable of rotating from a neutral position to a shift position; a first switch 19 which is mechanical, which switches from an off position to an on position in an outward operation of the operation lever 5 rotating from the neutral position to the shift position, and which switches from the on position to the off position in a return operation of the operation lever 5 rotating from the shift position to the neutral position; a second switch 21 which is mechanical, which switches from an off position to an on position after the first switch 19 in the outward operation, and which switches from the on position to the off position before the first switch 19 in the return operation; and a control unit which determines the rotation state of the operation lever 5 on the basis of output signals of the first switch 19 and the second switch 21.
