Abstract:
A vehicle interior trim part 10 comprises a switch device 13 that controls a vehicle-mounted instrument mounted in a vehicle, and a translucent ornamental panel 12 on which there is provided a design indicating an operation position on a front surface, the switch device having an electrode 14 arranged in a position overlapping the ornamental panel when the ornamental panel is viewed from the front-surface side, a control unit 17 that detects changes in the electrode and controls the operation of the vehicle-mounted instrument, and a light source 30A that illuminates the position in which the electrode is arranged, or the surroundings of the position, from the rear-surface side of the ornamental panel and displays a design 33 on the front surface of the ornamental panel, the light source being arranged in a position that does not overlap the ornamental panel when the ornamental panel is viewed from the front-surface side.
