This vehicle lamp comprises a light guide which includes a light guide portion extending in a predetermined direction to guide light emitted from a plurality of light sources, and a plate-like exit portion continuous with an outer peripheral surface of the light guide portion. The width of the light guide portion in the same direction as the thickness direction of the exit portion is greater than the thickness of the exit portion. At least one end face in the longitudinal direction of the light guide portion is formed as an entry surface that light emitted from the light sources enters. The tip-end face of the exit portion is formed as an exit surface from which the light guided by the light guide portion exits. In the exit portion, a control groove or a control hole is formed as a light control portion. Respective parts of a peripheral surface forming the light control portion are each formed as a control surface that controls the light to travel toward the exit surface. The light emitted from different light sources and guided by the light guide portion is separately controlled by different control surfaces of the light control portion.
