Abstract:
A vehicle-mounted camera calibration device (1) is provided with an image acquiring unit (7), a marker recognizing unit (9), a movement distance computing unit (11), an image storing unit (13), and a calibration unit (15). The movement distance computing unit computes a vehicle movement distance on the basis of the number of times a process of a first characteristic portion of a marker moving to a position overlapping a second characteristic portion is repeated in an image. The image storing unit stores specific images containing the marker. The calibration unit calibrates the vehicle-mounted camera using the specific images. The image storing unit stores as the specific images (a) an image from which the marker has been recognized, and (b) an image acquired when the movement distance from the position of the vehicle when a previous specific image was acquired has reached a predetermined distance.
