Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle-mounted communication system, a vehicle-mounted relay device, a communication program, and a communication method, which make it possible to expect reduction of the quantity of communication lines provided in a vehicle and prevention of occurrence of communication delay. A vehicle-mounted communication system according to this embodiment is provided with a plurality of vehicle-mounted relay devices each comprising a plurality of first connections to each of which a vehicle-mounted communication device is connected, a plurality of second connections to each of which another vehicle-mounted relay device is connected, and a relay processing unit which performs processing for relaying a message between the vehicle-mounted communication device connected to the first connection and the other vehicle-mounted relay device connected to the second connection, and two vehicle-mounted relay devices are connected via two or more communication lines. The vehicle-mounted relay device comprises a storage unit which stores identification information attached to the message received via the first connection, and a correspondence relationship of the second connection that should serve as a transmission destination of the message, and performs processing for updating the correspondence relationship according to the communication situation of communication via the second connection.
