Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique whereby the playback of an AV source such as audio data can be continued with as little power consumption as possible when the remaining charge of a battery has become depleted in an electric automobile. A vehicle-mounted device (1) is provided with a first playback unit (71) for playing back a first AV source, second playback units (72-75) for playing back a second AV source different from the first AV source with the power consumption needed for playback being lower than that of the first playback unit (71), a battery charge detection unit (26) for detecting the remaining charge of a battery of an electric automobile, and a controller (11). The controller (11) performs playback switching which includes stopping playback of the first AV source and starting playback of the second AV source when the remaining charge detected by the battery charge detection unit (26) is equal to or less than a first threshold value during playback of the first AV source.
