Abstract:
The present invention was conceived of in light of a previously examined problem, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide an electronic control apparatus that controls a plurality of functions, wherein if an abnormality is detected, an operation is continued without affecting the other functions, while the safety of a control target device corresponding to the function in which the abnormality was detected is assured. Provided is a vehicle mounted electronic control device according to the present invention, wherein a first calculation unit and a second calculation unit each output an operation confirmation signal, and a driver control unit sets a driver as being in a degenerated state, said driver corresponding to either the first calculation unit or the second calculation unit, according to which operation confirmation signal indicates an abnormality.
