Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a vehicle-mounted electronic equipment operation device, the objective being to improve safety. A control unit (8) has a function to display operation parts (12) at least in a partial outer peripheral area of a display unit (9) while displaying a video image from a camera (5) in the center of the display unit (9). The vehicle-mounted electronic equipment operation device is configured such that when the operation parts (12) are to be displayed by the control unit (8) at least in the partial outer peripheral area of the display unit (9) by operating a display changing switch (10), the video image from the camera (5) is displayed in the center of the display unit (9), the brightness of the camera video image (13) is reduced during the initial display of the camera video image (13), and the brightness of the camera video image (13) is subsequently increased.
