Abstract:
A necessary logo mark can be displayed in an on-vehicle navigation device in accordance with a vehicle travel condition so that a user can easily view the logo mark. The navigation device displays a map of a display area including the vehicle current position on a display device and displays a logo mark of a facility existing in the display area. The logo mark display is controlled in accordance with the vehicle travel condition. For example, the type of logo marks to be displayed is decided in accordance with the facility use frequency, the type of the road where the vehicle is traveling, the vehicle travel speed, and the like. Accordingly, it is possible to display an appropriate logo mark in accordance with the vehicle travel condition so that the user can easily view the logo mark.
