Abstract:
In the present invention, a backbone network is configured from a central control device and a plurality of relay devices. Each of the relay devices is provided with a backbone-side communication port connected to the backbone network, a plurality of device-side communication ports for inputting/outputting signals from/to a vehicle onboard device, and a first interface conversion device that performs interface conversion between the backbone-side communication port and the device-side communication ports. The device-side communication ports include a plurality of general-purpose communication ports to which a common input circuit and/or a common output circuit is connected. The general-purpose communication ports have a prescribed first vehicle onboard device directly connected thereto and have a prescribed second vehicle onboard device connected thereto via a second interface conversion unit.
