Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a vehicle position and posture determination method and apparatus, and an electronic device. A vehicle to be positioned is provided with an panoramic camera, and the panoramic camera is used for photographing an aerial view of a scene where said vehicle is located. Said method comprises: performing semantic segmentation on the aerial view to obtain local semantic information of the scene where said vehicle is located; according to global semantic information of a preset region comprising the scene where said vehicle is located, determining, in the preset region, a position and posture matching the local semantic information as the position and posture of said vehicle. The semantic information can be extracted from the aerial view photographed by the panoramic camera, so as to acquire features of the scene where said vehicle is located, and then the position and posture of said vehicle are determined by means of map matching. The position and posture of the vehicle can be determined without the aid of GPS signals. Therefore, the position and posture can be accurately determined even in a scene where GPS signals cannot be normally received.
