Abstract:
A vehicle positioning method and a vehicle. The positioning method comprises: obtaining first map data acquired in real time (101); detecting whether preset second map data matching the first map data is present (102); upon detecting the preset second map data matching the first map data, determining map matching information of the first map data and the second map data (103); and performing a vehicle positioning update according to the map matching information (104). The invention enables the position of a vehicle to be updated. First map data acquired in real time is matched with preset second map data, such that high-precision positioning information can be obtained, and a positioning update is performed according to the high-precision positioning information, thereby improving the precision of the positioning information and ensuring the accuracy thereof.
