Abstract:
In a vehicle rear section structure according to the present invention, a plate-shaped rear end panel (8) extending right and left is arranged behind a floor panel (3) of a cargo bed (2), left and right ends of the rear end panel (8) are joined to left and right side panels (5) of the cargo bed (2), and a floor joining surface (8b) is formed on an upper part of the read end panel (8). A plate-shaped panel member (9) extending right and left in front of the rear end panel (8) is arranged under the floor panel (3), the left and right ends of the panel member (9) are joined to the left and right side panels (5), an upper part of the panel member (9) is bent forward, and a plurality of projecting parts (9b) aligned to the left and right are formed. Each projecting part (9b) is sandwiched and joined between a rear end of the floor panel (3) and the floor joining surface (8b). A lower center of the rear end panel (8) is projected forward, and a thereby formed panel member joining surface (8c), a lower part of the panel member (9), and the rear end panel (8) are connected through a center bracket (16).
