Abstract:
A database has usage circumstance data which represents information relating to at what future time it would be possible to use for vehicle return each of a plurality of parking sites which are prepared as vehicle rental sites and return sites. In response to a new return reservation request which is received from a first terminal among a mobile terminal and/or a vehicle terminal, a control system queries the usage circumstance data, and, by ascertaining which parking site among the plurality of parking sites will be usable and at what future time, specifies a reserved return site and a reserved return time relating to a new return reservation, and sets a return reservation which sets down the specified reservation return site and reservation return time.
