A vehicle seat having a seat device capable of being used as a wheel chair outside a vehicle compartment and used as a seat where a vehicle occupant sits and a seat moving device for moving the seat device between the inside and outside of the compartment, wherein positioning of the seat device relative to a seat connection base during the connection of the seat device to the seat connection base is simply and reliably performed. Left and right pairs of connection members (210, 211) are disposed at the front and the rear part of a seat holder (20) of the seat device. Connection engagement members (156) are arranged on a seat connection base (151). It is so arranged that, when the seat connection member (151) is inserted in the lower surface side of the seat device and lifted, each connection engagement member (156) is fitted into an engagement groove (210a, 211a) of a connection member (210, 211), and the seat device is positioned in the forward/backward direction relative to the seat connection base (151).
