Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle seat in which a seat cushion has a cushion body and a movable side section, the movable side section being supported by the cushion body so as to be movable between an upright position and a tilted-down position. A seat (A) is provided with an operation input section (34) into which an operation input can be arbitrarily applied. After an operation input is applied to the operation input section (34) while the movable side section (Ss) of the seat (A) is held in an upright position (U), the movable side section (Ss) tilts down from the upright position (U) in response to a predetermined downward load being applied to the movable side section (Ss). That is, after an operation input is applied to the operation input section while the movable side section is held in the upright position, even if a hand is released from the operation input section, the movable side section can be held in the upright position in such a manner that the movable section can tilt down as needed, and consequently, operability is increased.
