Abstract:
A vehicle seat having high side frame rigidity is disclosed. A vehicle seat (automotive seat S) is provided with a side frame (cushion side frame 10). The side frame includes an elongate plate-shaped base wall (11), and a first flange portion (12) which extends from one edge of the base wall (11) in a lateral direction in a direction intersecting the base wall (11). The first flange portion (12) includes a first processed portion (PP1) which has been subjected to a strengthening process employing quenching or embossing.
