Abstract:
In order to ensure the durability and reliability of an engagement clutch and a mechanism for disengaging the engagement clutch when shifting gears, which disengages the engagement clutch, this vehicle shift control device is provided with an automatic transmission (3) positioned in a drive train from a second motor generator (MG2), and a controller (21) that controls the shifting of the automatic transmission (3). In the hybrid vehicle shift control device, when a shift command for shifting gears is outputted due to the disengagement of the engagement clutch (8c), which is engaged due to meshing, the controller (21) delays the start of shifting while torque acting on the engagement clutch (8c) is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, and allows shifting to start when the torque acting on the engagement clutch (8c) is less than the predetermined value.
