Title:
VEHICLE SUN VISOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/043845
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle sun visor for cutting off light into the vehicle interior. A vehicle sun visor is constituted by having a plate−like visor main body, and conventionally this visor main body is constructed so that it is impermeable to light. However, if the visor main body is constructed so that it is perfectly impermeable to light, it obstructs the field of view of the occupant, sometimes interfering with the seeing of signals or the like. Accordingly, the invention has the object of providing a vehicle sun visor that allows the occupant to properly see signals or the like through the visor main body. To this end, in the invention, the visor main body (2) of a vehicle sun visor (1) is formed by having a light adjusting member (4) capable of adjusting the transmittance of light into the vehicle interior. Therefore, the visor main body (2), which is capable of properly adjusting the transmittance of light and visibility, secures the field of view for the occupant and makes it easy to see signals or the like.
