Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle comprising a left rear wheel and a right rear wheel having a traveling direction which is fixed in the fore-aft orientation, and a left front wheel and a right front wheel, wherein the vehicle is able to maintain a state of contact between the wheels and an uneven road surface while further controlling the forces acting on the vehicle main body. A vehicle 1 is provided with: a left front wheel 31 and a right front wheel 32 that are supported on a vehicle main body 2 and are rotatable respectively about a left pivot shaft PL and a right pivot shaft PR each extending vertically; and a linkage 5 that transforms so that the left front wheel 31 and the right front wheel 32 do not lean to the left/right direction when the left front wheel 31 or the right front wheel 32 is displaced upward or downward relative to the vehicle main body 2. The linkage 5 is a parallel four-link suspension linkage. The vehicle 1 is configured so that, when the vehicle 1 is turning left or right, and if either one of the left front wheel 31 and the right front wheel 32, in a state of rotating respectively about the left pivot shaft PL and the right pivot shaft PR, drives over an obstacle in the traveling direction, then the left front wheel 31, the right front wheel 32, the left rear wheel 41, and the right rear wheel 42 are maintained in an upright position with respect to the vehicle main body, and so that the vehicle main body 2, the left pivot shaft PL, and the right pivot shaft PR do not lean.
