Title:
VEHICULAR BACKUP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/061750
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention realizes a vehicular backup device in which a plurality of driving sources can be backed up by power supplied from a second power supply unit even when the power supply from a first power supply unit is stopped, and in which the peak current required during a backup operation can be effectively reduced. In this backup device (1), a control unit (5) instructs a discharging unit (2) to cause a discharging current to intermittently flow multiple times to each of a plurality of motors (122A, 122B) when an abnormal state is detected in the power supply from a first power supply unit (91), and controls a discharging current supply source such that each instruction time at which the control unit instructs the discharge unit (2) to cause a discharging current to flow to one motor (122A) differs from each instruction time at which the control unit instructs the discharge unit (2) to cause a discharging current to flow to the other motor (122B).
