Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular brake apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of pedal shock. In this vehicular brake apparatus, a master cylinder forms a second hydraulic chamber adjacent to a first hydraulic chamber with a seal member interposed therebetween. The seal member is disposed at a position facing the first hydraulic chamber and the second hydraulic chamber so as to be movable in the axial direction of the master cylinder 1. A first hydraulic generation unit performs movement restriction hydraulic control such that, if the operating information acquired by an operating information acquisition unit shows that a brake operating member is not operated, a first hydraulic pressure higher than a second hydraulic pressure is generated in the first hydraulic chamber, and then the higher the values related to the amount of operation of the operating information acquired by the operating information acquisition unit, the more first hydraulic pressure is generated.
