Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular lamp that improves the controllability of luminous flux, increases the usage efficiency of light, and can suppress irradiation irregularity. The vehicular lamp contains a plurality of light-emitting elements (30) and a plurality of luminous flux control units (40) provided corresponding to each of the plurality of light-emitting elements (30), and forms a linear irradiation pattern of a prescribed shape in front of the plurality of luminous flux control units (40). The vehicular lamp is characterized in that: each luminous flux control unit (40) comprises a refractive part (40A) disposed to a central section and a forward-spreading roughly mortar-shaped reflecting part (40B) surrounding the refractive part (40A); the refractive part (40A) refracts light from the light-emitting element (30) and causes the light to be directly emitted forward; the reflecting part (40B) reflects light from the light-emitting element (30) and emits the light forward while causing the light to spread; and light emitted from the light-emitting element (30) passes through the luminous flux control unit (40), and then forms a far-field pattern in which the length of the linear irradiation pattern in the extending direction is longer than the length in the direction intersecting the extending direction.
