Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular lamp with which a light distribution pattern for illuminating a desired region can be obtained and appropriate ADB light distribution control can be performed without any reduction in forward visibility, even when using a multi-segmented LED array having a standard number of divisions. The vehicular lamp comprises a light source (multi-segmented LED array (31)) (3) in which a large number of light-emitting elements are arranged and which emits light in a desired pattern by selecting the light-emitting elements and emitting light, and an optical system (first lens (21), second lens (22)) (2) that projects light emitted from the light source (3) to form a light distribution pattern. In the optical system (2), a light distribution pattern for a unit illumination region having minute dimensions is formed in a central region (222), and a light distribution pattern configured from unit illumination regions having enlarged dimensions is formed in a peripheral region (223) around the central region (222).
