Abstract:
This vehicular power device (1) is provided with a vehicle wheel bearing (2) and an electric motor (3). A brake rotor (12) is attached to a hub flange (7) together with a vehicle wheel, and the entire vehicular power device (1) has a smaller diameter than an outer peripheral section (12b) of the brake rotor (12) which is a portion against which a brake caliper is pressed. A stator (18) positioned radially inwardly of the electric motor (3) is pressed and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of an outer ring (4), which is a fixed ring. An annular recess (21) is provided in one or both of the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring (4) and the inner peripheral surface of the electric motor (3) which is fixed and faces the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring (4).
