Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular roof module 1 with which it is possible to improve the degree of freedom in layout of a front part of a roof. This roof module 1 comprises: a roof panel 2; a pair of guide rails 6 which are mounted on the inner surface of the roof panel 2 and extend in the front-back direction of a vehicle; a shade sheet 8 which is guided by the guide rails 6; a roll-up device 9 which is supported by the guide rails 6 and which is for rolling up the shade sheet 8; and a drive source 12 which drives the shade sheet 8 in the roll-up direction or a roll-out direction. The roll-up device 9 and the drive source 12 are collectively arranged on the rear end side of the guide rails 6. No cross member for connecting between the guide rails 6 is provided to the front-end side of the guide rails 6.
