Abstract:
[Problem] To dispose a radio transceiver in a vehicular seat in a position near the back of a seated person, and where no odd sensation is imparted to the back of the seated person. [Solution] A vehicular seat (1) includes a seat cushion (3) and a seat back (4) joined to the rear part of the seat cushion. The seat back includes: a back frame (21) comprising left and right side frame pieces (26) that extend vertically, and an upper frame piece (27) that extends horizontally and is joined to the upper ends of the left and right side frame pieces; a pressure-receiving member (22) that is a component in a sheet form for supporting the back of a seated person, has radio-wave permeability, and is supported on the back frame via elastic members (43, 44); and a radio transceiver (70) that is supported on the rear face of the pressure-receiving member and that beams radio waves at the seated person and receives waves reflected from the seated person.
