Abstract:
A vehicular steering control device is provided with: a variable steering angle device (14) that modifies a relationship between an operating position of a steering wheel (20) operated by a driver for steering and a front wheel steering angle; and a steering angle control device (16) that implements automatic front wheel steering control (S200) for controlling a vehicle trajectory by controlling the steering angle varying device. When the steering angle control is terminated (S100), the steering angle control device implements termination control (S600) for eliminating an error, or an N-error, in the relationship between the operating position and the front wheel steering angle. When the rate of steering operation is small, the rate at which the N-error is eliminated is decreased compared with when the rate of steering operation is large (S400).
