In order to prevent interruption of communication caused by a condition change of wireless communication due to the distance between an on-road machine and a vehicle, the present invention provides a vehicular wireless communication device provided with: a communication unit; a control unit that controls reception at the communication unit; a position detection unit that detects the position of an on-road machine; and a traveling direction detection unit that detects the traveling direction of a vehicle, wherein the communication unit is configured to receive information from the second nearest on-road machine next to the on-road machine under communication, on the basis of the position of the on-road machine detected by the position detection unit and the traveling direction of the vehicle detected by the traveling direction detection unit.
