Abstract:
Disclosed is a venous blood collection catheter, comprising a catheter body (1), a connection base (5), an extension pipe (7), a slider (6) and an extension pipe joint (8), wherein a rear end of the catheter body (1) is connected to one end of the extension pipe (7) via the connection base (5), and the other end of the extension pipe (7) is connected to the extension pipe joint (8); and two side holes (3, 4) in communication with the catheter body are provided on a side face of an orifice at a front end of the catheter body (1). By arranging the side holes (3, 4) at the front end of the catheter body (1), the side holes (3, 4) relatively increase the caliber for blood collection so as to increase the blood collection speed and not easily form a fibrin sheath, thereby solving the problem that it is difficult to increase the blood collection speed or is difficult to place the catheter.
