Abstract:
A full protection suit (1) which can be ventilated for use in a hazard zone comprises a hose (4) for an air supply to a breathing apparatus (6). The breathing apparatus (6) is integrated at the end (5) of the air hose and is arranged outside the suit (1). It can be connected by means of a coupling, preferably a plug connection to a nipple on a pass-through (7), to the suit (1). A valve arranged in the breathing apparatus (6) is designed to receive the plug connection and is opened when the plug connection is locked. The plug connection is preferably a push-in connection. The breathing apparatus (6) further comprises a functional unit for the mechanical connection of the breathing apparatus (6) to the hose end (5), for sealing the connection, for regulating the air pressure through the breathing apparatus (6) and for warning in the event of an air pressure below a predefined limit value necessary for the hazard-free use of the suit.
