Abstract:
Provided is a ventilation device that is capable of efficiently suppressing pollution outside a room flowing into the room, according to the degree of pollution outside the room, and is capable of ensuring comfort for people in the room. For this purpose, the ventilation device comprises: an air supply unit and an exhaust unit; an air supply rate changing unit for changing an air supply rate; an exhaust rate changing unit for changing an exhaust rate; an air purification unit for purifying air to be supplied to the room; a data acquisition unit for acquiring, from an external data source, outside air environmental data including information relating to a degree of pollution of the outside air; and a control unit for controlling the air supply rate changing unit and the exhaust rate changing unit. When the degree of pollution of the outside air exceeds a preset standard on the basis of the outside air environmental data, the control unit switches from a first control to a second control. In the first control, the control unit sets the air supply rate to a first air supply rate and the exhaust rate to a first exhaust rate. In the second control, the control unit sets the air supply rate to a second air supply rate and the exhaust rate to a second exhaust rate. The amount of increase of the second air supply rate relative to the first air supply rate is greater than the amount of increase of the second exhaust rate relative to the first exhaust rate.
