Abstract:
This ventilation system comprises: a ventilation fan that includes a filter for removing dust in the air blown into a room, and operates while switching between a first operation mode for operating at a relatively low air volume and a second operation mode for operating at a relatively high air volume; a carbon dioxide concentration detection unit that detects the carbon dioxide concentration inside the room; an air volume switching control unit (331) that switches the air volume of the ventilation fan on the basis of the carbon dioxide concentration inside the room detected by the carbon dioxide concentration detection unit; and a filter replacement determination unit (333) that determines a replacement period of the filter on the basis of information during a second operation mode operation time, which is the operation time of the ventilation fan in the second operation mode. The ventilation system can determine a suitable maintenance period of the filter in accordance with the usage environment of the ventilation fan, and can prompt the user about maintenance of the filter at a suitable period.
