Abstract:

Provided is a ventilator for a railroad vehicle provided with a dust collector, with which pressure loss is reduced, the efficiency of dust collection is secured, and the installation space for the ventilator is reduced. The ventilator for a railroad vehicle is provided with a dust collector 103 on the front side and an air supply blower 510 on the inside that introduces external air. The dust collector 103 installed together with the ventilator 101 is configured at least by a wire mesh 200 that faces front, a plurality of cyclone cylindrical bodies 300 each comprising a substantially circular cylinder provided with an inlet, an air path on the upper part through which air passes from the cyclone cylindrical bodies 300, and a dust collection box 220 on the lower part into which dust is collected from the cyclone cylindrical bodies 300. Dust from external air introduced through the inlets of the cyclone cylindrical bodies 300 is collected at the dust collection box 220 so that dust can be discharged out of the vehicle periodically.
