Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the waterproofness of an air intake device applied to an electric power steering device configured so that a motor and a control unit are integrated. This venting device comprises an aeration unit having a venting action via which aeration is achieved by means of air flowing between the inside of an electric power steering device and the outside thereof, the aeration unit being disposed on an end surface of a control unit so as to project from the inside of the electric power steering device toward the outside. The control unit is provided with a connector, and the end surface of the control unit is the side of a rotating machine opposite to an output shaft. The aeration unit projects horizontally, or in a direction upward from horizontal.
