Abstract:
The design and fabrication of a permanent air filtering device based on venturi effect, which is washable and works by the absorption of dust particles via a liquid fluid (antifreeze or motor oil). The filter components are housed in a plastic shell and can be separated for utilization. The filtering device consists of: a nozzle; fluid charge cap; mixing chamber; ejector clamp; filter cap gasket; filter cap; damper; liquid trap; a partition; diffuser; two storage tanks; and a fluid discharge cap wherein the liquid trap and storage tank prevent the leaking of liquid in the direction of airflow during strong shocks and displacements of the filter.
