Abstract:
A vertical axis wind power generator provided with an intake chamber and an exhaust chamber according to the present invention includes: an intake chamber including an open wall facing a windward side and a closed wall facing the opposite side thereof; an exhaust chamber which is connected to and has a height different from the intake chamber, and includes a closed wall facing a windward side and an open wall facing the opposite side thereof so as to allow wind introduced into the intake chamber to be discharged therethrough; a turbine which is rotated by the wind passing through a connection passage between the intake chamber and the exhaust chamber; a vertical axis generator for generating power by the rotational force of the turbine; and multiple blocking films for selectively opening or closing the walls of the intake chamber and the exhaust chamber in only one direction.
