Abstract:
Provided is a vertical pulverizing classification device in which the structure near the secondary classifying section has been simplified and which is capable of manifesting excellent classification performance without causing power increases for the classifer or pulverizer. The diameter (d6) of the classifying section housing (52) is equal to or greater than the diameter (d3) of the pulverizing section housing (46). A cylindrical collision member (100) extending downward from near the outer circumference of the upper end of a collection hopper (11) is provided. The ratio (α) (= H2/H1) of the height (H2) of the collision member (100) to the height (H1) from the upper opening of a throat (42) to the upper end of the collection hopper (11) is restricted to the range of 0.05 ≤ (α) ≤ 0/15.
