Description:
DESCRIPTION

THE VESSEL WITH A SEALED AIR WAY

5 The invention relates to novelty which provide an efficient use of the energy at externally heated vessels such as cooker, teapot and kettle. This invention consists of the vessels which are used for heating and /or cooling with a sealed air way which provide energy and time saving. In practice, the invention also introduces some developments for the vessels such as cooker and teapot which are used particularly lft in the kitchens by saving energy and time as well as providing isolation. Thanks to its features as a sealed air way, the invention has increasing capacity for transmitting the heat, thus allowing rapid cooling applications by means of external electric resistance heating and a fan.

15 The views of the vessel with a sealed air way which are formed to achieve the purpose of the invention are given in attached figures. These figures can be listed as follows:

Figure 1- Sectional view of the heating model for the conventional, externally heated vessels.

20 Figure 2-Sectional view of the heating model for the heated vessel with a sealed air way.

Figure 3-Sectional view of the heating model for internally heated vessel with a sealed air way.

Figure 4- Sectional view of the complete functional vessel with a sealed air

25 way.

Figure 5- View of helical air flow model for the heated vessel with a sealed air way.

Figure 6- View of the blocked air flow model for the heated vessel with a sealed air way.

30 The parts in the Figures are numbered as shown below.

1) Conventional heating vessel

2) The liquid to be heated

3) Flames

4) Cold air 5) Hot air and/ or gas which is the combustion product

6) Inner vessel

7) Outer vessel

8) Isolation layer

9) Sealed air way

10) Passageway for the liquid

1 1 ) Helical passageway for air

12) Blocked passageway for air

13) Cover

14) Side holes for the base

15) Electrical resistance

16) Cooling fan

For the heaters which we are familiar with, hot gases occurring following the combustion or hot air emerging by the energy from the electrical resistor flow along the vessel surface and rise but can be effective on a limited level particularly for the vessels such as teapot or cooker which are used in the kitchen (Figure 1 ). Since the whole outer surface of the vessel reaches to high temperatures, fewer types of material and decorative options can be available.

The invention relates to the vessels which are used for heating and/or cooling. In the inner or outer part of the said vessel, there is a sealed air way which provides an efficient use of energy during the heating and/ or cooling process. The presented invention provides that the hot combustion gas or the hot air flow in the vessel surface (Figure - 2) or inside the vessel (Figure- 3) through the sealed air way. Thus, the contact surface of the vessel with the hot combustion gas or the hot air increases. Especially in the internally sealed air way model, the heat is completely isolated and full performance is provided. When the sealed air way is formed on the surface of the vessel, the outer surface is insulated, thus the performance level increases (Figure- 2)

If the sealed air way is formed inside the liquid, in other words in the inner vessel, the liquid flow is provided with passageway for the liquid (Figure-3). Increasing the flow time of the hot gas or the cold air inside the sealed air way enhances the performance. The increasing flow time of the hot gas or the cold air can be provided by increasing the flow path (movement distance). Helical (Figure-5) or blocked (Figure-6) air flow is provided with features of intermediate tie pieces or passageway for the liquid forms.

With its energy efficiency level and thermal conductivity features, electrical resistance and fan socket for cooling can be applied at under of the vessel (Figure-4).

Lower air inlet is controlled by the mechanically or electrically controlled holes over the bottom of the inner vessel. (Figure-4). The holes are closed following the heating by the lower resistant socket, when the resistor is shut down by the thermostat. The air flow is stopped and cooling is prevented.
