Abstract:
This vibration analysis method for analyzing vibrations of a large-scale system including local nonlinearities includes: a step (1) of applying a new complex mode analysis to an equation for a linear state quantity to convert the same to a real mode equation for a low-order mode, and correcting and eliminating the effects of a high-order mode of the linear state quantity from an equation for a non-linear state quantity; a step (2) of extracting a dominant mode, which is a mode having a large impact on the solution of the original large-scale system, from the real mode equation, and, in relation to a secondary mode, which is a mode having a small impact, eliminating the impact thereof by utilizing an approximate solution to incorporate the impact as a correction term in the equation for the non-linear state quantity, to derive a low-dimensional model; and a step (3) of using the low-dimensional model to calculate a frequency response.
