Abstract:
Provided is a vibration control device for a windmill for wind-powered electricity generation, which can be arranged in a narrow space within a supporting post without an accompanying increase in the weight of the supporting post, and which is capable of changing the characteristic frequency of the supporting post. The vibration control device is equipped with: a pendulum (21), which is equipped with a swinging rod (23) extending in the height direction of the supporting post and suspended via a first universal joint (31) from joists (15, 16) provided in the upper part of the aforementioned supporting post, a flange part (24) extending outward radially in the circumferential direction from the outer surface at the upper end of the swinging rod (23), and a weight (25) attached to the swinging rod (23) and capable of ascending and descending in the axial direction of the swinging rod (23); and multiple attenuation devices (22), the upper ends of which are attached to the joists (15, 16) via second universal joints (32) and the lower ends of which are attached to the flange part (24) via third universal joints (33).
