Provided is a vibration device capable of definitively confining the vibrations of a vibrating part to the vibrating-part side. A vibration device (1), wherein: a first end of a support part (4) is connected to the vibrating part (2); a frame-shaped base (3) is provided so as to surround the vibrating part (2) and is connected to the second end of the support part (4); a slit (3a) is formed in the base (3) in a direction crossing the direction in which the support part (4) extends, so as to provide a bending-vibration part (5) between the support part (4) and the section of the base (3) which is connected to the second end of the support part (4); both ends of the bending-vibration part (5) are connected to the remaining section of the base (3); this connected section serves as the fixed end of the bending-vibration part (5); and the length from the section of the bending-vibration part (5) connected to the second end of the support part (4) to the fixed end of the bending-vibration part (5) is λ/4 when the wavelength of the bending vibration corresponding to the frequency of the natural vibration of the vibrating part (2) is λ.
