In a vibration plate 1 for an electro-acoustic converter configured by a paper substrate 10 having, as a main component, cellulose fibers 20, the total mass of dyed particles 21 included in a first surface-side region 12, which is a region having a prescribed thickness from a first surface of the paper substrate 10, is greater than the total mass of the dyed particles 21 included in a second surface-side region 14, which is a region having a prescribed thickness from a second surface that is a surface opposite the first surface of the paper substrate 10.
