Abstract:
This vibration proofing device (1) is provided with: a bracket (10) having an internal space (15); and a vibration proofing member (20) that is inserted in the internal space (15). The internal space (15) is open to an exterior surface of the bracket (10). The internal surface of the bracket (10) has formed therein at least a pair of opposing surfaces (16, 16) on which the vibration proofing member (20) is pressure-welded. The pair of opposing surfaces (16, 16), at least in respective partial areas thereof, are separated from each other by the same distance on the far side and on the near side in the insertion direction of the vibration proofing member (20). Accordingly, it is possible to provide a vibration proofing device and a bracket that enable construction of the entire device in a compact size while ensuring sufficient retentive strength between the bracket and the vibration proofing member.
