Abstract:
A vibration cutting unit (20) in which the base portions (PE) of holding members
(82b, 82c, 85b, 85c) for supporting vibrators (82, 85) are seamlessly secured
to fixation portions (FP) of nodes (NP1, NP2) that are common to axial vibration
and flexural vibration. Therefore, the node (NP1), namely vibrator bodies (82a,
85a) can be securely fixed to stably support the vibrator bodies (82a, 85a) and
also stabilize the vibration of the vibrator bodies (82a, 85a). Since the vibrator
bodies (82a, 85a) can be suppressed from being vibrated in an uncontrollable
mode, an object to be worked can be machined with a high precision.
