Abstract:
If resolution inverse-conversion is performed by selecting a model parameter suitable for an input video from a set of predetermined model parameters, video that is not suitable for a plurality of model parameters may become low-quality. This video coding device comprises: an image decoding device for decoding encoded data in which an image that has been subjected to resolution conversion and filter information for deriving a first model parameter are encoded; and a post-processing device which uses the image and filter information decoded by the image decoding device to perform conversion into the same resolution as that of an input image signal. The video coding device further comprises a synthesized information creating device for creating filter information for deriving the first model parameter, and an image coding device for coding an image pre-processed by resolution conversion and the like, and filter information created by the synthesized information creating device.
