Abstract:
Disclosed is a video coding method and device using an improved in-loop filter, and provided in an embodiment are a video coding method and device which uses a deep learning model so as to generate a residual frame from a reconstructed frame in order to enhance video coding efficiency and improve video quality and which applies the generated residual frame to a linear model so as to approximate an original residual frame, and thus improve performance of the in-loop filter.
