Abstract:
Disclosed are a video data processing method and apparatus, a video display method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a readable storage medium. The video data processing method comprises: calculating a brightness characteristic of each video image frame for a standard dynamic range video to be displayed; acquiring display characteristics of a terminal device; normalizing the brightness characteristic to obtain a normalized brightness characteristic; and building a mapping curve for each video image frame according to the display characteristics and the normalized brightness characteristic, wherein the mapping curve is used for representing a mapping relationship between an original RGB electrical signal and a corrected RGB electrical signal, the original RGB electrical signal is an RGB electrical signal obtained by converting a YUV electrical signal of a video image to be displayed, and the corrected RGB electrical signal is an RGB electrical signal adapted to the display characteristics of the terminal device. By adopting the technical solution of the present disclosure, when a mapping curve of each video image frame is built, because the display characteristics of the video image frame before mapping and the display characteristics of the terminal device after mapping are considered, video images containing different picture hues can be adapted to terminal devices having different display characteristics, it is ensured that display pictures are not distorted, and therefore, the problem of poor display effect of a terminal device due to the fact that an SDR video is directly mapped to the terminal device by using a gamma curve is solved.
