Abstract:
A demodulation unit (12) of a video demodulation device comprises: an analog/digital converter (21) that converts an analog intermediate frequency signal into a digital intermediate frequency signal; a brightness gain adjustment unit (24) that performs gain adjustment such that the maximum value, within a certain time range, of the brightness component included in the digital intermediate frequency signal becomes a prescribed reference value; and a synchronization correction unit (25) that receives the result of the gain adjustment as an input and corrects the signal during periods of horizontal synchronization signals, and outputs the corrected signal as a CVBS signal. When a composite signal of the brightness component and color component contained in the result of the gain adjustment is less than a reference value, the synchronization correction unit (25) outputs the composite signal as the CVBS signal, and when the composite signal is not less than the reference value, the synchronization correction unit (25) outputs the reference value as the CVBS signal.
