Abstract:
A video display device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a projecting unit at least part of which is made so as to be able to rotationally move and which emits projection light forming at least one viewpoint video; a light collection unit for light-collecting the projection light; a diffusion member for diffusing the projection light so as to be relatively narrow diffusion in a horizontal direction and relatively wide diffusion in a vertical direction; a detection unit for detecting a viewpoint position of an observer; and a control unit for rotationally moving at least part of the projecting unit to a position corresponding to the viewpoint position detected by the detection unit.
